Introduction to Programming with Raspberry Pi

Introduction to Programming with Raspberry Pi In-Person

Join us for this “basics course” on setting up a Raspberry Pi (credit card size computer) along with minor programming with scratch.  The session will also touch on using the program language Python 1 and 2 as well. NAU Faculty, David Van Ness was recently certified at the Raspberry Pi Academy and will be teaching the class.

Borrow one of the 10 Raspberry Pi kits from the Cline Library or bring your own with you.

If you plan to bring a Raspberry Pi Kit with you, the closest match to those the library is lending is the CanaKit Raspberry Pi 3 Ultimate Starter Kit - 32 GB Edition, which you can find on Amazon.  NOTE: Please be sure and avoid the Orange Pi which is not sufficient for this class. If you are a true Raspberry Pi enthusiast, you might check out products at https://pi-top.com/products/pi-top
